Journey respects the privacy of all users of its site and ensures that the personal information you provide to us is treated confidentially.

Use of our services
When you sign up for one of our services, we ask you to provide personal data. This data is used to perform the service. The data is stored on Journey's own secure servers or those of a third party.

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is under 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. Journey only uses technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone the first time you visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and, for example, remember your preferred settings. We can also optimize our website with them. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information previously stored via your browser settings.

Google Analytics
Via Google Analytics, anonymized data about browsing behavior is collected on journeyrentalsupport.nl. This allows us to see how visitors like you use the website. We use this information to make informed decisions about the layout of our website. We also use it to optimize the functioning of the website. To enable careful processing, we have taken the following measures:

We have concluded a processing agreement with Google;
We have masked the last octet of the IP address;
We have disabled all options offered by Google to 'share data with Google';
We do not use other Google services in combination with the Google Analytics cookies.
Do you not want your click behavior to be tracked? Then you can download a browser plugin from Google's website that prevents this. This setting then applies to all websites you visit, not just journeyrentalsupport.nl. 

Note: the plugin only works for Chrome. We are currently working on integrating a Consent Management System within our website, to give you the option directly from our website to completely disable the anonymized tracking of your click behavior, regardless of the browser you use.

Social buttons
The site includes buttons to promote or share pages on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. These buttons are pieces of code from the social media themselves and use a cookie. This cookie remembers that you are logged in so that you do not have to log in to Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn every time you want to share something. To see what they do with personal data they receive with this code, you can view the privacy statements of Facebook, X, and LinkedIn (which may change regularly).

Embedded content
Blog articles may use content hosted on other sites and made accessible on journeyrentalsupport.nl. Think of YouTube videos. In a similar way to the social buttons, these codes often use cookies. What they do with the cookies and personal data can be found in the privacy policy of the relevant service. We have no control over this.

Purposes
We do not collect or use information for purposes other than those described in this privacy policy unless we have obtained your consent in advance.

Third parties
The information is not shared with third parties (apart from any third parties involved in data storage). Processing agreements have been concluded with these third parties. In some cases, the information may be shared internally. Our employees are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data.

Viewing, modifying, or deleting data
You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Journey and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.

To ensure that the request for access was made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please black out your photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

Processing personal data
There are various forms on journeyrentalsupport.nl. Below you can see for each form how the data you enter in the form is processed.

1 – Basic contact form
Your data will only be used to process your request. The data will be deleted within 5 working days after processing unless it must be kept for another legitimate purpose (e.g., if you are a customer of Journey or if you have signed up for our newsletter).

2 – Download form
Your data will only be used to send you an email with a download link. After that, it will be deleted within 1 working day unless it must be kept for another legitimate purpose (e.g., if you are a customer of Journey or if you have signed up for our newsletter).

Viewing and modifying personal data
You have the right to ask us which personal data about you is stored in our records. If you believe that this personal data is not (or no longer) correct or complete, you can ask us to supplement, correct, or delete your personal data. Requests for changes will be processed as soon as possible.

Choices for personal data
We offer all visitors the opportunity to change or delete all personal information currently provided to us.

At the bottom of every mailing, you will find the option to modify your data or to unsubscribe.

2 – Modify/unsubscribe from communication
